Shaping Careers for Women: Applications Now Open for 2025 Patrick Terminals WILpower Cadet Program

Patrick Terminals has announced that applications are now open for the 2025 WILpower Cadet Program, an initiative designed to promote gender diversity within the stevedoring and maritime industries.

This program offers women career development opportunities in maritime and logistics, helping to increase the representation of women in key roles across Patrick Terminals. Since its inception in 2015, the WILpower Cadet Program has played a key role in creating gender equality within Patrick Terminals. With further intakes in 2019 and 2022, the program has empowered participants to build impactful careers within Patrick Terminals and the broader logistics sector.

For 2025, Patrick Terminals is offering six cadet positions, providing hands-on experience, mentorship, and career development in a dynamic and fast-paced industry:

โ€ข Fours cadets in terminal operations, with a focus on health and safety
โ€ข One cadet in engineering
โ€ข One cadet in the corporate safety team

โ€œBy directly addressing gender imbalance within our workforce, we aim to drive lasting change and encourage greater representation of women in key operational and management roles,โ€ said Michael Jovicic, CEO at Patrick Terminals. โ€œThrough the WILpower Cadet Program, we are providing opportunities that empower women to build rewarding careers in logistics and play a critical role in the future of our industry.โ€

Applications for the 2025 WILpower Cadet Program close on 21 February 2025. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply and take the next step in their careers.
