58th annual commemoration at the Merchant Navy Memorial and Columbarium

The Merchant Navy War Memorial Fund has announced details of the 58th annual commemoration at the Merchant Navy Memorial and Columbarium.

The event will be held at the Rookwood Cemetery on Sunday 16 April 2023 at 11:00 am.

The Guest of Honour delivering the 2023 address is Rear Admiral Christopher Smith AM, CSM, RAN, Commander Australian Fleet.

The MNWMF notes that no merchant navy veteran should be unable to attend because of a lack of transport. Readers can contact the MNWMF to inquire about transport arrangements.
