Tank storage company Vopak has announced that it is investigating the strategic options for its terminals in Australia, which may include include continued operations or divestment. The outcome of the process is currently unknown and no further details have been released by the company.

Reports in financially-focused media suggest that the company is taking sounding from the market by appointing investment bankers to explore a sale and have distributed a short flyer.

Vopak offers tank storage for a range of chemicals including new energy and related products (e.g. hydrogen and carbon), conventional energy (liquefied petroleum gases and liquefied natural gases), petrochemicals, other chemicals, and crude oil among other substances.
