Shipping Australia and WISTA met and discussed maritime issues

Mehrangiz Shahbakhsh from Shipping Australia met representatives from WISTA for the WISTA NSW Breakfast catch-up for Maritime and Logistics Professionals.

The dialogue at the event was lively, with the experts from various maritime sectors discussing topics such as maritime law, seafarers’ training, and advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence.

Held on April 4, at “The Ground”, in the Galleries, Sydney, the event was hosted by Aph Barton, the NSW WISTA representative, and who works for Swire Shipping. Also present was Livija Berzins (Public Officer for WISTA; law firm HFW), Monika Lemajic (WISTA President; Transport for NSW), and Priscilla Echegoyen (WISTA; Ocean Bridge Group).
