Hey you! Shipping agency or broker person! Do you wanna win hard cash and present in Türkiye?!?!?

By Shipping Australia

Do you think you’re a rising star? Do you think you’re so clever it hurts? Do you think you know more about shipping than all the peons surrounding you?

Well, prove it!

Which you can do by entering this year’s FONASBA Young Ship Agent and Broker Award 2025!

Prizes!

Top prize is the opportunity to present your work before your industry seniors at the Annual Meeting of FONASBA in ISTANBUL, TÜRKIYE!

You will also receive a Certificate of Achievement, along complimentary access to a BIMCO eLearning Module of your choice, and complimentary entry into either the FONASBA ACB Liner Shipping Course of the FONASBA Tramp Shipping Course.

If that’s not enough, the winner will be showered with cold, hard, cash – EUR 1,000 generously provided by FONASBA and EURO 500 generously provided by ITIC.

And, if that’s not enough, the winner gets the legitimate bragging rights. Value: incalculable!

The second prize winner will receive complimentary entry the US Shipbroking & Charter Vessel Operations course, generously provided by the ASBA, the US members of FONASBA!

A new third prize has been announced this year! Five textbooks with a commercial value of GBP550 (currently about AUD$1,092) have been generously donated by the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.

The main aim of the Award is to develop professionalism among young people in ship agency and shipbroking and to encourage them to be actively engaged in the industry.
