Applications are now being taken by “Women & Leadership Australia” for Transport & Logistics Sector Leadership women’s scholarships of between $1,000 to $5,000. The aim of the scholarships is to help women in select industries participate in WLA’s leadership courses.
Scholarships include a $1k grant in the “Skills for workplace impact” a ten week programme for women at all levels and which aims to provide interpersonal and communications skills over a ten-week online course with a 1-2 hour commitment per week. Similarly, there is a another $1k scholarship for early career managers aimed at enabling aspiring and early career female managers; this course runs for for four months online and requires a two hours / week commitment. It is designed to provide a range of skills including leadership performance, presentation skills, team skills, and more.
Mid-level managers are catered for with the “Executive Ready,” course, which attracts a scholarship of $3k. This course has a duration of seven months and, again, has a two hour / week commitment online and aims to develop a range of skills such as leadership and authenticity, communication skills, team dynamics, and change-making, among others.
There is also a $5k scholarship for a nine month online course, the Advanced Leadership Programme, aimed at senior and executive leaders and which requires a 1.5 hours / week commitment. It is focused on empowering teams, progressing diversity and inclusion, engaging with challenge and strategic change, among others.
Applications close Friday 28 March 2025, unless allocated prior to that date.
