Shipping Australia attends annual Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia International Women’s Day Luncheon

Shipping Australia attended the annual NSW Parliamentary Luncheon of the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia Luncheon, which was held today (Friday 07 March) in the Strangers’ Dining Room.

There were three presenters, Lisa Qu a Serial Entrepreneur & Commercial Growth Strategist, Maureen Jordan – CEO Switzer Group* and Nick McArdle – Ambassador for Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter.

The presenters offered valuable insights from industry leaders and network with supply chain professionals in events held across Australia, accelerating action for diversity in supply chain leadership.

The Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia is celebrating the United Nations-designated International Women’s Day which, this year takes place on Saturday 8 March.

  • QLD – International Women’s Day Breakfast – “Accelerate Action,” Friday, 7 March 2025, Linda’s Cafe, 136 Oxford St, Bulimba
  • NSW – Annual Industry Lunch – Strangers’ Dining Room, NSW Parliament House, 6 Macquarie Street, Sydney – Friday, & March 2025

A live auction was held to raise funds for Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter (HKWS), which provides crisis accommodation, long-term housing, and outreach support for women and children escaping domestic violence and homelessness.
