Patrick Terminals has announced new voluntary measures aimed at improving rail landside efficiency at its Sydney AutoRail terminal.
The company will start publishing additional data, including rail window schedules, as well as cancellation and arrival metrics. It will also establish a Rail Landside Efficiency Group in Sydney from late 2025 to develop performance solutions and share information on rail investment plans. A governing charter for the group will be available on the company’s website.
“As we continue to drive landside efficiency, our commitment to engagement and transparency remains central to how we operate,” said Michael Jovicic, CEO of Patrick Terminals.
The initiatives, developed following industry feedback, are designed to support importers, exporters and rail operators, and will be implemented on a voluntary, market-led basis.
