Andrew Maguire appointed as the managing director of Pacific Asia Express

There has been a change of leadership at Pacific Asia Express as part of a planned succession.

Barry Misiurak, PAE’s founder and managing director, has stood aside from the MD position and has assumed the position of executive chairman.

Andrew Maguire (left), previously the deputy managing director of the company, has now been appointed as the company’s managing director.

Set up in 1990, Pacific Asia Express is an Australian-operated shipping agency and transport company handling containerised, refrigerated, hazardous, over-dimension and break-bulk, and ro-ro cargoes.

Pacific Asia Express is a subsidiary company of Pacific International Lines of Singapore, which was set up in 1967.

Pacific Asia Express is the sole agent in Australia for Pacific International Lines, Mariana Express Lines and Toyofuji Shipping (the Toyota Group’s marine transport company).
