Australia attracts a new box-shipping operator!

Singapore/Dubai-based Sea Lead Shipping Pte Ltd will begin operating within the CA2 service from March 2022.

The company will deploy a vessel within the CA2 consortium.

Sea Lead is currently ranked by Alphaliner as being the 24th largest container line in the world.

Nautical Shipping, part of Leeward Group, will act as exclusive agents for Sea Lead Shipping.

The Leeward Group includes the agency brand Quay Shipping.

Leeward Group Managing Director Darren Dumbleton – who was recently appointed to the position – advised that Nautical Shipping will operate as an independent business from a Melbourne-based headquarters.

Mr Dumbleton commented: “Nautical Shipping looks forward to creating the Sea Lead Australian story. We have commenced recruitment for Sea Lead & Nautical and have already filled several positions”. He added that some positions are still open and can be found by visiting Seek.com.au.
