Engage Marine strengthens partnerships to support young indigenous men

Major towage provider, Engage Marine, has announced that has continued its partnerships with the Karratha and Carnarvon Clontarf Academies, part of the Clontarf Foundation, a nationwide initiative that supports young Indigenous men through education, sport, and employment opportunities.

Engage Marine regularly hosts groups of Clontarf boys and young men at its Dampier operations and on its vessels so that the guests get to experience, and develop insight, into the local maritime industry.

“These visits provide valuable exposure to potential career paths and help foster connections between the students and industry professionals. Our partnerships reflect Engage Marine’s commitment to supporting local communities and empowering the next generation of leaders. By working together, we aim to inspire young people from Karratha and Carnarvon to pursue fulfilling careers and contribute to the growth of the Pilbara and Gascoyne regions. We look forward to continuing to provide opportunities for Clontarf students, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need for future success,” Engage Marine said in a statement.
