By Jim Wilson

Shipping Australia www.shippingaustralia.com.au is delighted to welcome GreenStream as our newest corporate associate member!

GreenStream is a Sydney-based recruitment and talent advisory firm dedicated exclusively to the maritime, shipping, and marine sectors.

About GreenStream
Founded in 2025, GreenStream (https://greenstream.au/) draws on over 30 years of industry experience across the shipping and maritime sectors, supporting clients across Australia, Asia-Pacific, and international maritime markets. GreenStream also works closely with partners in key maritime hubs including London and Singapore. The firm focuses on mid-level to senior appointments across operations, technical, and commercial functions, as well as roles emerging from the industry’s energy transition, alternative fuels, increasing digitisation, and greater adoption of AI.

GreenStream’s service offering includes permanent recruitment, executive search, and embedded and fractional Talent Acquisition support, providing flexible solutions aligned to the needs of maritime organisations.

The business works with ship owners, ports, marine service providers, logistics businesses, and infrastructure organisations, applying a structured and disciplined search approach to deliver credible shortlists and support long-term appointments.

Ozan Cabadag is the Founder and Managing Director of GreenStream. He has over three decades of experience across international shipping, as well as several years’ experience in the maritime recruitment sector, including roles in Singapore and Perth. Ozan commented: “We’re very pleased to be joining Shipping Australia and to be part of an organisation that plays an important role in representing and supporting the maritime industry. As the sector continues to evolve — particularly through the energy transition, alternative fuels, increasing digitisation, and greater adoption of AI — access to the right talent will be critical. We joined Shipping Australia to stay closely connected with the industry and to contribute to the broader conversation, while supporting its members with talent insights and market knowledge.”

Shipping Australia’s CEO, Capt. Melwyn Noronha, added: “Every member strengthens Shipping Australia as the voice of the ocean shipping and maritime logistics sector. Ozan and GreenStream bring deep sector expertise to our association, and they are talent-advisors who understand the nuances of recruitment across the maritime sector. Our members can only benefit from access to GreenStream’s insight and experience”.
