They engaged in lively discussions on a range of maritime and logistics topics.
The discussion at the event was engaging, with attendees sharing their experiences and covering a wide range of topics related to WISTA activities and various aspects of the maritime industry. They exchanged viewpoints on how the maritime industry is shifting towards changes, discussing the challenges and opportunities that come with these changes.
In a general discussion about the effects of technology on all industries, one attendee shared their experience on how AI helps with some administrative tasks in their company. It was discussed and noted that while AI shows promise, its integration varies across different countries and the nature of organisations and will take time to be adopted.
Held on June 6, at “The Ground”, in the Galleries, Sydney, the event was hosted by Aph Barton, the NSW WISTA representative, and who works for Swire Shipping.
