Shipping Australia Queensland held its Annual Golf Day on 25 June 2025.
After two postponements it was great to finally get on the course which held up reasonably well from the previous saturated conditions.
The postponements caused a few cancellations as changing dates did not always suit previously booked parties.
Still, we were very pleased to have 75 players turn up and everyone was very pleased to have been there on the day.
Winners of the SAL Cup were Blue Water Shipping, followed by DP World winning the OOCL Dennis Briant Cup and finally ES Randle for the Chairmans Trophy.
Nearest the Pins winners were David Brough, Lewis Garwood and Vinny Kavenagh.
Longest Drive was Dietfe Moeckel and Straightest Drive Maurice Fischer.
