Northport expansion
The Environment Court has granted consents for Northport’s plans for expansion at Marsden Point allowing the port to realise their vision for dedicated container handling, storage and logistics to grow Northland’s supply chain resilience.

Chatham Islands announces new vessel arrangements
The McCallum Bros and Nova Marine Carriers Joint Venture (MBLJV) has been selected by Government cabinet and will see a replacement vessel for the 1185GT general cargo ship “Southern Tiare” deployed in the second hand of 2027.

NZ Government Energy Package
The Government has assured power companies (of which they hold majority shareholding) that capital is available to support investment in critical electricity infrastructure, aiming to ensure that energy security is maintained.  Government is launching a formal procurement process for an LNG import facility.
