VICT won the Phil Kelly OAM Trophy 2023!

On Thursday 9th March the Shipping Australia annual golf tournament was held at La Trobe Golf Club in what could be described as near perfect conditions overcast with occasional patches of sunshine no wind and a temperature of 21 degrees.

Sixteen teams lined up for the shotgun start with Victoria International Container Terminals (team one) taking top honours and claiming the coveted Phil Kelly OAM trophy for 2023. The team made up of Tom Whelan, Luke Blyth, Stephen Quinton and Jayme Lawson set a high standard for the field. Luke additionally claimed nearest the pin capping a superb round. The longest drive was achieved by Leigh Taylor as part of PMC Containers team entry.

The event was underpinned through the generosity of two sponsors namely Engage Towage and MIRRAT. Sincere thanks is respectively extended to Adam Rowlinson and Jed Smith who supported those sponsorships. In addition, Port of Melbourne for providing first prizes and NPDL for the provision of Fiji Water.
