Approximately 150 guests were treated to a three course luncheon and a selection of liquid refreshments.

Key speakers

Shipping Australia Chair, Scott Henderson, led the event with introductory remarks and he also introducing our guest of honour and guest speaker, the Honourable David Elliott, NSW Minister for Transport.

Minister Elliott gave an update on various initiatives happening in the NSW ports sector and from across the NSW Government.

Shipping Australia’s NSW Co-Chair, Bill Rizzi, also addressed the luncheon, and pre-lunch grace was given by Chaplain Jack Starmans.

Port of Newcastle generously supported the event and, without their support, the event simply could not have gone ahead.

Thank you Port of Newcastle!
