Western Australia’s Police Commissioner has amended last week’s official Directions, which limit personal travel, to allow shipping companies to change crews in the State. Police have created two sets of exemptions to the general quarantine rules that will apply to ship crews travelling through the state for the purpose of getting on, or off, ships.

Maritime Safety Queensland (MSQ) has announced a significant easing of its restrictive policy of forcing ships to stay away for 14-days since they were last at an overseas port. But land-side supply chains continue to experience problems in Queensland.
