The IMO International Day for Women in Maritime is observed on 18 May every year.

To celebrate the Day, Shipping Australia and Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA Australia) will host a luncheon in Melbourne on Wednesday 15 May with a panel of industry leaders – My Therese Blank (Head of Oceania Market for Maersk), Vedran Muratbegovic (Senior Vice President, Region Chair and Head of Sales – Oceania) and Stephanie Pickett (General Counsel of Geelong Port), to discuss how we can support and empower women to thrive in the shipping and maritime industries.

The event will be open from 12pm with the panel discussion to start at 12:15pm until 1:30pm, leaving time for you to network. You will enjoy a delicious two-course meal with drinks at the beautiful RACV Melbourne City Club while listening to the insights shared by our panellists.

Seating for this event is SOLD OUT!!!

On behalf of SAL and WISTA Australia, we look forward to celebrating this IMO International Day for Women in Maritime with you.
